Sillustani Ancient Burial Towers

The bus ride to Sillustani lasts about 30 minutes and offers along the way fine w¡ews of the Lake Titicaca. At the archaeological site of Sillustani, our local guide will show us the most important sectors of the burial site and will give us a good insight into the Andean culture. Our visit in Sillustani ends up with wonderful panoramic view if the Lake Umayo. Afterwards we will visit local farmes that live along the road. Here we will learn about the economical activity in the area, and also the farmers will explain how they plant their potatoes, breed their alpacas, vicuñas and guinea pigs. Finally we will return to Puno, getting there by sunset.
